Pokemon and Nintendo Directs are always a hoot to watch, because even if you don’t have a Switch or 3DS, Nintendo usually has some cool games to announce! This time around, however, we didn’t really get anything new or revolutionary, just a few repackaged games. I will say, it’s cool to have the OG Pokemon Gold and Silver available for the 3DS after we got Red, Blue, and Yellow already. We did get Pokken Tournament DX for the Switch, which is pretty much the same game but with some new characters and a new team battle. The last new thing was Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, which are different stories from the original ones, but I think it’s safe to say they’ll be pretty much the same game.

What bothers me about this is that normally, we would get a third game after the first two that would combine the first two games. It would be a sort-of package deal that would include every Pokemon from both games, including the legendaries, like Pokemon Platinum or Emerald. I wish we could go back to that, I think it’s a little weird to sell us two games yet again, what’s really the point? I suppose that remains to be seen, maybe I’m wrong and it’ll be totally worth the money, who knows? Let us know what YOU think about this, and what you wanted to see from this but didn’t!
