Nintendo held a Direct presentation today for Pokemon Sword and Shield, which are releasing for the Switch on November 15. A 15-minute presentation was released, which you can watch above (starts at 28:00 mark).

In addition to the release date, Game Freak also unveiled a new battle mechanic named Dynamax, which turns Pokemon into gigantic versions of themselves and boosts all of their moves to Max Moves over the course of three turns. Max Raids were also shown off, which are inspired by Pokemon Go, and will allow up to four players to team up in certain areas of the map.

The game’s box art was also shown off, which features two new legendary creatures, Zamazenta and Zacian. You will also see more of the new Galar region, which is inspired by the picturesque countryside of the UK.

Both games are due out on November separately, but there will also be a dual pack that includes both titles and an exclusive golden dual game card steelbook.
