As announced by Brian Michael Bendis on the Playstation Blog, the television adaptation of his comic book Powers will hit Playstation Network on March 10. Bendis, along with Michael Avon Oeming, are the creative minds behind the tale of homicide detectives specifically designated to cases that involve people with superhuman abilities, referred to as “powers”.

The series will debut with the first three episodes being released to Playstation Network on March 10, and one new episode released each Tuesday afterwards. The first season is 10 episodes long and while the first episode will be available for free, a Playstation Plus membership is required to view the full season.

Sharlto Copley plays main protagonist Christian Walker along with Susan Heyward playing Deena Pilgrim. The show will also feature Eddie Izzard, Noah Taylor, Max Fowler, Adam Godley, and Olesya Rulin. Bendis will also appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers on January 20 to discuss Powers along with his other comic-related work.
