What is the next blockbuster movie you won’t be able to miss this fall?  The Autumnal Equinox brings a slew of options for movie goers this year.  Beginning with dolphins, ending with abductions, and more vampires in there somewhere you’re bound to be entertained.  With that being said let’s take a look at some of the movies that will release this Fall.

  • Warner Bros. starts the season off with Dolphin Tale, which is based on a true story about a dolphin named Winter who is injured.  This is a heartwarming story for families, and it isn’t a cartoon, so the little kids may not be able to sit for the whole thing.  Be prepared to bring candy and answer many questions from your young ones.
  • Taylor Lautner will be busy this fall!  He first is a teenager who finds out his life was based on lies and then he will turn into a werewolf again, but more on that later.  In Abduction, he’s running for his life as FBI agents help him find the truth.  I wonder how many times the director made him take his shirt off for this one?
  • If you’ve been needing a Brad Pitt fix he’ll be starring in Moneyball, which is a baseball movie based on a true story.  It’s going to be about the Oakland A’s and one coach who changed the way the game is played.  Jonah Hill plays his not very experienced right hand man in a more serious type of role for the comedic actor.
  • Dream House with Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts, and Rachel Weisz is a story of a house with a murderous history.  The family unknowingly moves into a house where a mother and child were murdered and the killer is still believed to be alive.  Will the Cowboys and Aliens star be able to make it in a thriller?  I certainly think so.
  • October will usher in the Ides of March.  The first political movie of the season will bring George Clooney, Paul Giamatti, Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Evan Rachel Wood, Marisa Tomei, and Ryan Gossling together for the first time.  Expect dirty politics on the campaign trail here.
  • Disney will come out with Real Steel, about robot boxing.  Hugh Jackman is the promoter who thinks he’s found a winner.  Evangiline Lily and Kevin Durand also star in this futuristic action movie where humanoid robots do battle in the ring.
  • Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd play a married couple who move to a commune to escape life in New York City in Wanderlust.  The celebrity gossip is that Jennifer gets pretty racy in this movie and maybe trying to venture out from her past girl next door roles.
  • The remake of Footlose will come out this fall.  It’s supposed to be very close to the original with only a few slight changes.  Julianne Hugh plays Ariel and Kenny Wormald replaces Kevin Bacon as Ren.  Kenny is a professional dancer who has toured with big names like Justin Timberlake, so he should be able to shake a leg.

These are just a few of the major movies slated for the fall.  There is The Thing, The Big Year, The Mighty Macsand The Rum Diary.  There’s also a few sequels coming out like Happy Feet 2, Paranormal Activity 3, 11-11-11 and of course the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.  You will have to wait until November 18th to get your vampire and werewolf movie thrills on, but maybe you super fans should start waiting in line now!

Katheryne Taylor from CreditDonkey says, “get your credit card ready because as soon as tickets go on sale for this one, they’ll be sold out before you know it.”  You’ve been updated on the Fall movie lineup.
