Preview of Windows 8 Running on a Tablet

WinRumors.com has managed to get their hands on a Windows 8 Slate tablet, as well as an iPad running iOS5, and for our viewing pleasure they’ve put together a comparison video. For me personally the allure of this video is seeing Microsoft’s new OS in action. I don’t really care how it stacks up against Apple’s insanely popular mobile OS, but I do care about watching Windows 8 function in the wild.

I’ll be honest with you, I think MS has finally gotten off of its lazy collective a*s and really created a refreshingly new Windows OS. Until I get my hands on it I’ll have some reservations, but from what I saw in the video below Windows 8 is a very organic and dynamic operating system that could give Apple’s creativity a run for its money (maybe, but only if it “Just Works”, right Steve?).
