In 2011 Kevin Tancharoen and Machinima teamed up to bring Mortal Kombat fans a live action web series (Mortal Kombat Legacy) of the fighting game that detailed the early lives of some of the game’s more infamous fighters. The series is returning for its second season in 2013, and we finally get to see what Kevin has been up to via the brand new trailer for it, which you ca watch below. It definitely looks like the second season of Legacy is going to focus more on the tournament and fighting than character development, but that’s definitely alright with me.
From the looks of the new trailer I think Mortal Kombat Legacy part 2 will be more of what fans thought the first season would be about. The footage looks solid and more professional than the first time around, and it features more Mortal Kombat characters than an Ultimate Edition arcade cabinet. Check out the first season 2 trailer for MK: Legacy after the break. You’ve been thinking this season looks much closer to Mortal Kombat than the original…
The Mortal Kombat Legacy continues in Season 2 as Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kenshi, and Ermac join the ranks. The rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors will unfold as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld. The epic battle for Earthrealm has finally begun.
