PS4 Evolve Stress Test to Take Place 1/11/15; Closed Beta Opens 1/17/15

2K and Turtle Rock are now emailing select PS4 users to join a special stress test for Evolve that is set to take place January 11, 2015 at 12pm pst/3pm est. It will run for 24 hours and Turtle Rock really wants as many gamers as possible to login around 2pm pst/5pm est to put the screws to the servers so they can get things ready for the longer closed beta that follows on the 17th.

Those who get the stress test email must agree to a NDA to get a code, but if you do get into the stress test you will be guaranteed access to the closed beta. During the stress test players will have access to the following gameplay components:

In this weekend’s stress test, you will be able to play Evolve’s “Hunt” game mode with access to the first two monsters (Goliath and Kraken) and first eight hunters (Markov, Maggie, Val, Hank, Hyde, Griffin, Lazarus, and Bucket) across all 12 maps that support “Hunt” and are included at the time of launch.

If you’re a PS4 user that had access to the previous alpha that didn’t work there’s a good chance you’ll get the email invite for the stress test, so keep an eye on your inbox if you want to get in on the fun.
