PS4 Slim Picture Leaks All But Confirm Its Existence

It appears that Sony has a PS4 Slim up its sleeves thanks to some real deal video game journalism courtesy of Eurogamer, which visited a gamer who apparently found one from the auction site Gumtree. This isn’t the supposed PS4 Neo, which has been reported to be a 4K capable version of the PS4.

If this is indeed a PS4 Slim it’s more than likely being released to create a lower price point for the standard PS4 as the Neo will surely be more expensive, so Sony needs a few options to provide value to gamers like MS has done with the standard Xbox One. We should get more details on this supposed PS4 Slim and the rumored Neo at a September 7, 2016 event planned by Sony. Either way a slimmer version of the PS4 isn’t that odd when you consider that Sony has released smaller versions of everyone of its consoles since the PS1.

UPDATE – The video has been pulled, so further proof that the PS4 Slim is legit. Below you can find a video of the rumored PS4 Slim in action courtesy of Eurogamer.

There are also images of the console unboxed via NeoGaf.

It’s hard not to think that this PS4 Slim is a fake considering all of the evidence, but until Sony officially confirms its existence, we have to consider it to be a rumor.
