PS4 UI Revealed and it Looks Similar to the Xbox 360 Dashboard

PlayStation-4_2013_02-27-13_001-noscale+copy

When I first saw the PS4 user interface during Sony’s press event last week it immediately reminded me of the Xbox 360 dashboard.  The XMB interface is no more, and it has been replaced by the tile setup found in the 360’s UI.  Socialization seems to be at the forefront of the PS4’s new UI, as you will see in the images after the break.  There’s also a few shots of it running on tablet devices, so it seems Sony’s claim of being able to stay in touch with your PS4 via any mobile device is holding true.

Personally, I think it looks promising and featured pack, but I’ll hold my final judgement until I actually get to play with it myself.  In the mean time we can only speculate and judge from afar.  I just want to see the damn console already, but I guess its software will have to suffice for now.  You can check out the PS4’s UI after the break.  You’ve been liking what you’re seeing…
