In news that should surprise literally nobody (especially if you already read the title of this article), PUBG hit 5 million players on X1! In case you didn’t realize, that’s over a million per month on average, and that’s definitely nothing to sneeze at. I’m not going to be surprised at all if that number just keeps going up and up because PC still has millions on that. With the success of the game, it’s a wonder if we’ll start seeing more content come out faster for the game, such as new maps, weapons, vehicles, etc.

Like it or not, the Battle Royale sub-genre is here to stay and PUBG has done as well as it has for a reason. Gotta admit that I’m not a huge fan of the PUBG or Fortnite but I can easily understand their importance and the place they’ve cemented for themselves in gaming history.
