PvZ: Garden Warfare ‘Zomboss Down’ DLC Now Live and Free

EA and PopCap have officially unveiled the Zomboss Down DLC pack for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, which among other things will add a new map to the Gardens and Graveyards multiplayer match type. The new map is called Cactus Canyon, and it features a golf course motif. Cactus Canyon also doubles as a secret facility that houses an army of Cacti ready to take on the zombies spilling out of Dr. Zomboss’s blimp.

In addition to the new map the DLC also adds eight new characters, 200 customizable items, and the level cap for all characters now goes up to thirty. A few of the new characters are the Archeologist Zombie, the Wrestling Star Zombie, the Law Pea, and the Sun Pharaoh. There will also be new weapon skins and custom items to deck out your characters. Although, the best part about the Zomboss Down DLC pack is the fact that it’s FREE! That’s right, as long as you own a copy of the proper game you can download this new content free of charge. Head on down below to check out a few new screens of the new map and character builds.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is now available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The Zomboss Down DLC pack should be available to download sometime today (4/15.)
