‘Raging Justice’ Brings Back its Pre-Rendered Rage

I’m a sucker for beat ’em up games. I LOVE Streets of Rage 2, it’s one of my favorite games of all time. Raging Justice is the latest effort from Team 17, and it looks to bring back some of the beat ’em up elements that we all know and love.

The backgrounds are all pre-rendered, which I love. I grew up with that stuff on the PS1, so whenever I see it now it really tugs at my nostalgia strings. The character models and everything aren’t digitized like I originally thought; they’re just kinda weird and stiff looking. They look like some kind of claymation but…not?

I’m sure more details will arise about the game as it gets closer to actually coming out. I’ll definitely be keeping this one on my radar.
