‘Rampage’ Returns to Its Retro Roots With This 8-Bit Trailer

Rampage started out as an 8-bit video game, but now it’s also a live-action movie, so it makes perfect sense that its trailer has been remade with retro video game visuals. Considering that this movie started as a video game, this remake actually features parts of the Rampage video game, unlike most of these bits, which use various game engines to remake a particular pop culture film’s trailer. They’re always fun to watch, even if the movie itself may not be what you’d call a must-watch flick.

Rampage is now in theaters!
