After reviving the franchise with 2011’s brilliant Rayman Origins, Ubisoft looks to continue the little guy’s momentum with the upcoming Rayman Legends.
A direct sequel to Origins, Legends will follow the journey of Rayman and his quirky cast of allies as they attempt to defeat their enemies with a variety of classic platforming mechanics. Origins was beloved for its vivid art style and charming music, a trend that will hopefully continue.
PC Gamers have been mysteriously left in the cold, but Legends will be available on Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita on August 30th.
Rayman Legends retains the fantasy appeal of its predecessor while adding a multitude of clever and entertaining gaming modes, new characters, new environments and a new soundtrack. The award-winning team of artists, designers and composers from Origins has also returned with an advanced UbiArt engine to include multi-dimension gameplay elements, an improved lighting system and updated game rendering that elevate Rayman’s graphics to the next level.
