Rich Rod: Your Football Program’s Cancer

Rich Rodriguez, the destroyer of Michigan football, has made news again for his shady coaching practices.  I guess NCAA officials have made a visit to WVU, his former employer, to investigate potential violations he committed while at the helm of their football program.  This is in conjunction with the current NCAA investigation happening at Michigan for more of his antics.

I’m a Buckeye grad and as long as your not deaf, dumb, and blind, you’ve heard of the famous OSU vs. UoM rivalry.  There is no love lost between both school’s fans, but at this point I really feel bad for Michigan football.  The winningest program in footbal has become a joke in just 3 short years.  They haven’t had a winning season since Rich Rod showed up, their players have been jumping ship to other schools, and within 2 years Rich Rod has already gotten the NCAA to investigate the program.

I want the Big Ten to be relevant again, but that won’t happen until Michigan gets their shit together.  Rich Rod has become a cancer up there, slowly eating away at the traditions of Michigan football.  Just look at what’s happening now.  He’s getting investigated at a school where he hasn’t coached in 3 years.  The dude is a scumbag with a capital “S”.

Does anyone really think he’ll ever be successful at Michigan?  He needs to go to a school where scandals are tradition.  I’m thinking the University of Miami.  Michigan fans I feel your pain, but you guys picked him.  Now you have to live with him for at least one more season.

You’ve been enlightened…
