Spry Fox has released a new throwback trailer for its Road Not Taken title, which now has a release date. This rogue-like puzzler will hit Steam and the PS4 on August 5th in the US, and for the EU it will release the day after. There will also be a PS Vita version of the game hitting later this fall.

The new trailer for the game takes a throwback approach to promoting the game by incorporating 1990’s style advertising, so expect loud voices, bug personalities, and a bunch of flashy title segments. For more information on Road Not Taken you can visit the official website.

About Road Not Taken

Road Not Taken is a rogue-like puzzler about life’s surprises; players take on the role of a ranger who adventures through a vast, unforgiving forest in the aftermath of a brutal winter storm, rescuing children who have lost their way. Each time you play, you’re likely to experience a very different story. The paths you take will change; the relationships you pursue will twist in ways you did not expect. Which, as it happens, is just like real life.
