Robin in ‘Batman v. Superman’ May Be Female And Already Casted

This is actually a pretty big spoiler if it’s true. According to Detroit TV station WILX-10, an extra on the set of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice told them that the role of Robin will be female and that the leading candidate is Jena Malone. She is best known for her role as Johanna Mason in Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The most well known female Robin is Carrie Kelley from Frank Miller’s classic mini-series The Dark Knight Returns.

The clues get even curiouser as Malone has been seen on the WB set recently and has been spotted at recent premieres with a new red hairdo. Warner Bros. declined to comment.

It is quite possible that this extra, even though they revealed this to WILX under anonymity, could have to pay the iron price of $5 million for breaking non-disclosure.
