Rocket League is an amazing game with a fucking awesome soundtrack, and now, not only can you buy the soundtrack digitally, but you can buy it on vinyl, and my god, those discs look amazing. I don’t know who finally made this happen, what singular person made this a thing, or what group of people, but I should like to meet them all and shake their hands one-by-one because this is like a dream come true for me. The vinyls themselves look super cool, the colors and designs are awesome, and the book that they come in kicks ass, it’s one of the coolest collectibles that I’ve seen in a really long time.
Now, if that wasn’t enough to get you going, there is a limited run of 1000 of a very special limited edition version of the soundtrack. The difference is the vinyls themselves, they’re actually made to look like 3 of the many different wheels available in the game, so when you slap that shit on your record player, it’s like you’re really there. But a lot slower, and there’s no giant ball, and no one is exploding, but hey, the music is still playing, so who the hell cares, right?
If you want to pre-order these (and come on, you know you want to), just click the link here and spend your hard-earned money on them! The regular edition is going to run you about $55, and the limited edition is going to run you about $75, which, hey, if there’s only 1000 of them, and with the game being as popular as it is, I don’t think that’s unreasonable. I’ll put a couple more pictures of the of actual book below here, I hope more people are pumped about this than just me, and thank you guys for reading!
