Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Trailer Remade as a 16-Bit Game for Some SNES Nostalgia

The JoBlo Movie Trailers YouTube channel has a series of videos that take movie trailers and remake them as 8-bit or 16-bit video games. I’m not sure how I missed the one they cooked up for Rogue One, but I discovered it today while mining the web for gold, so I had to share it even though it’s two months old.

The trailer is faithful to the live-action version, albeit in a classic video game presentation. It definitely feels like one of the Super Star Wars titles from the SNES era, which are all great side-scrolling platformers. Whoever put the time into creating this is a master of nostalgic awesomeness.

The 16-bit trailer for Rogue One can be viewed above.
