‘ROM: Extraction’ Devs Talk About Exciting Design Issues with VR

Virtual reality is a very isolating experience. Some view this as a negative because of the disconnect with reality and social environments, but the isolation brings with it some very unique possibilities.

ROM: Extraction is brought to you with this in mind.

In the teaser trailer above, you’ll get a quick rundown of what ROM: Extraction‘s all about. It plays with a lot of (slow)motion effects, which makes your actions seem really meaningful.

VR is making damn sure it stays in the conversation. Personally, I’m pretty excited to see how developer First Contact Entertainment tackles the design problems presented by the nature of virtual reality when ROM: Extraction release on the PSVR this Fall.

Hearing them talk about it down below sure is comforting, at least.
