Jedi news claims that a trusted source of theirs has confirmed that Star Wars Episode VII will be shooting at Pinewood Studios, and that the powers at be at Disney have locked up the studio for the next 10 years. They also mentioned that pre-production on the film has been in progress for the past three months in anticipation of an August 2013 shooting date.

In addition to the studio rumor for Star Wars Episode VII it has also been revealed that the production itself will be codenamed Foodles, which is a practice that most Star Wars films have employed. For example, the prequels went under the name of JAK, while Return of the Jedi’s production was known as Blue Harvest.

At this time neither rumor has been officially confirmed by Disney, but we can confirm that the codename, if true, is based on a Disney licensed lunch kit for kids. Let the cross branding adventures of Disney Star Wars begin!
