S.H.I.E.L.D Movie Featuring Nick Fury to Begin Filming in 2012

Two days ago I wrote about a story that 2 new Marvel movies would be hitting theaters in 2014, but neither of their titles or characters of focus were disclosed.  Through some insider information from one of my most trusted sources I’m fairly certain that one of the new 2014 Marvel movies will be about Nick Fury himself in a film tentatively called SHIELD.  We’ve been seeing Nick Fury (Sam Jackson) pop up in some of the more recent Marvel movies’ post credit scenes to plant the seeds for The Avengers movie, but it looks like he’ll be getting his own flick as well.  The official synopsis for the film is below, and as of right now the cast will feature Jackson, Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), and Neil McDonough.  So what do you think about a SHIELD movie?  Personally, I think it should’ve been planned to come out before The Avengers, but what the hell do I really know anyway.  Peep out some SHIELD details below and feel free to chime in on the discussion in the comments section below.
