‘Sea of Thieves’ Closed Beta Dates Announced

Sea of Thieves has been doing Alpha test for what seems like forever. Thankfully, we actually received a solid release date for the game in March 20th, 2018. We also received a nice trailer, got some game info and were even treated to a sexy new Sea of Thieves controller that glows in the fricken dark. Rare has announced that the closed beta will run from 12pm GMT January 24th to 8am GMT on January 29th! Rare has prepared an excellent section of the game for testers to play through, without revealing too much from the full game. Players will get five full days of sea-shanty, swashbuckling action.

Sea of Thieves Beta access will be given to players who signed up for the insider program before December 1st, 2017 and to anyone who pre-orders the game. If you have questions on where to go to download the client, you can visit their website. Oh and as an important side note, this Beta will not be under NDA so you can stream and share content as much as you want! I am looking forward to seeing all of the pirate action on Twitch and YouTube during this time! Get ready to get scurvy and pillage the lands in the Sea of Thieves closed Beta!
