Taking creativity to a whole new level, art group The Outside Collective, created an incredible stop motion video based on the wonderfully odd world of LittleBigPlanet 3. Creativity is what drives the community in LittleBigPlanet and so it is always great to see what people make within the game, but The Outside Collective have gone that extra mile with a lot of effort and a nice empty warehouse in the city of London.

Here is a complete list of things taken to make the video.

  • Four artists
  • Four film crew
  • 4,000sq ft/ 371sq m double height warehouse
  • 2,000 spray paint nozzles
  • 670 tins of spray paint
  • 324 hours painting
  • 4,012 frames painted and shot (To move a character 10ft/3m they had to be painted 30 times)
  • 750 tea bags

Tea bags? Apparently so.

LittleBigPlanet 3 will be guaranteed to figuratively set people’s brains on fire when it and its massive suite of creative features launches on November 26th, expect more coverage on LittleBigPlanet 3 in the weeks to come.

If you are yet to be introduced to the 3 new characters of LittleBigPlanet 3, then check out the interesting intros to the curious critters below.
