See How Cersei’s Surprise Wight Came to Life in New Game Revealed Clip

HBO has put out another clip from its Game Revealed series, which is a seven part look at the making of the seventh season of Game of Thrones. In this clip we get to see how Jon’s surprise wight was brought to life in the dragon pit for Cersei’s viewing pleasure.

Apparently, it was harder to shoot a wight in this scene than in the massive battle sequences we’ve see them before, which is due in part to the level of detail needed for the closeup shots. You get to see how the stuntman was done up in makeup, prosthetics, and green screen spandex to complete the effect. I liked seeing the transitions from the actual shot to the finished product, because you can see how much work — both practical and digital — needs to be done for a scene like this in Game of Thrones.

Head on up above to check it out.
