I’m one of the gamers that can appreciate the motion-based controls scene, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to embrace it for all game types. I think the technology is neat, and I can see why the console makers have created their own devices, but am I really going to sit there for 4-5 hours playing an FPS with a glowing headed penis controller? Not a chance in Hell! From the looks of this video the Move controls are fairly slick and precise in regards to Killzone 3, but there’s no way I’m going to hold my arm up for an extended amount of time.
The idea of shooting Helghans with your d*ldo is awesome until you realize that your shoulder is falling out of its socket. It almost looks like a form of torture. There’s no way your average gamer will make it more than an hour or so using the Move in a FPS. Take a look below to see what I mean. I’m not hating, I think the concept is cool and it seems to translate on screen well, but we all know most gamers aren’t the best athletes, so there’s no way they’re going to play a game in a manner that burns some calories.
