SEGA Unveils Official SEGA Genesis Mini Console

There have been a few miniature SEGA Genesis consoles on the market before, but now SEGA is offering up an official version, in a similar move that both Sony and Nintendo have made over the past few years.

The official SEGA Genesis Mini will retail for $79.99, and it will come with 40 games, two wired controllers, a power adapter and cable, and an HDMI cable. 10 of the 40 games have been revealed, which you can comb over below. Shining Force and Sonic are included, so I’m all in.

The SEGA Genesis Mini is scheduled to release on September 19, 2019. You can bookmark the official product page to get in on pre-orders when they go live.
