Even in 8-bit format, the voices of Hannibal Lecter and Buffalo Bill still haunt me. The hiss of Lecter, the deep, slow voice of the psycho-dancing Buffalo Bill…shivers. The only thing that helped me overcome that terror was when Jay re-enacted that “Goodbye Horses” scene in Clerks 2. Now when I see or am reminded of that scene in Silence of the Lambs, my mind goes to Clerks 2 and I feel better.

Anyway, the crew at Cinefix does another masterful job at recreating a classic psychological thriller in retro-game form, and I’m looking forward to seeing them churn out Hannibal and Red Dragon to complete the Anthony Hopkins trilogy.
