‘Sky Noon’ Preview From PAX East 2018

Sky Noon takes place in a completely reinvented Wild West universe where the frontier floats among the clouds. Powerful cartels crave to control the most precious resource in the West: water. Players take the role of hired gunslingers that battle opposing fighters across the floating islands in the sky.

In this Super Smash Brothers-styles game, there are no health meters. To eliminate enemies, players must use various super-power compressed air weapons to send them flying out of their boots! Grappling hooks and lassos must be used constantly to prevent players from falling off in the great blue sky. Combined with other items like steam-powered jet packs, jump pads and teleporters, cowboys need to be quick on the draw and light on their boots in the fast-paced, aerial mayhem of Sky Noon!

Players can choose between Steve and Jaz and customize their different cowboy/cowgirl outfits. There are four different sky-bound maps and three game modes including a ‘payload’ type mode.

Sky Noon was an absolute blast to play at PAX East 2018! It was fast paced and exciting fighting against strangers next to me. Flying around using the grapple was incredibly fun and so smooth. Check out the announcement trailer for Sky Noon below!
