Skyfire 2.0 Beta Gives Android a Flash Alternative

Skyfire is a mobile browser that is made for Android OS based smartphones.  With the 2.0 release of this app the new Sky Bar feature will allow server-side conversion of Flash, so you can finally see Flash based movies on a portable device.  In non-geek speak, this basically means you can finally watch dirty movies on your cell phone, or other flash based movies found on the Internet.

Skyfire 2.0 also implements a social networking button that allows for easy sharing of content with your digital buddies.  There’s also a suggestion feature similar to Bing, which prompts various topics of interest based on what you’re currently viewing in the browser.  Unfortunately, Skyfire is only available for Android based phones, although they may be inking a deal with the iPhone.  Sucks for me, no deals on the horizon for Blackberry.
