Skyrim Apps: Free iOS Interactive Dragon Shout Map Coming Soon

A team of uber Skyrim fans have created a soon to be released iOS interactive map for the game called Dragon Shout (iPhone/iPad – Soon to be on Android).  This free and interactive map app will allow Skyrim nerds to mark locations on the digital map with notes to allow them the ability to return at a later time.  Let’s say you have a bunch of high end gear weighing you down, but you don’t have the time to find a local town and sell it.  You could drop it off in an area, mark that area on your Dragon Shout map, and then return to it to pick up your discarded goods.  The Dragon Shout app could also allow you to mark an area that has some unique pick-ups to return to, and eventually it’ll allow you to socialize your map and share your locations with other Shout users.

Dragon Shout Interactive Map App for iOS

Considering that this functionality is all going to be free I’d say downloading this iOS app is a no brainer for hardcore Skyrim gamers.  If you just want a digitized map you can always download the hi-res version here, but if you want to also interact with a map of Skyrim you’ll have to wait for Dragon Shout to come out later this week.  I’ll definitely be adding this helpful tool to my iPad 2, so stay tuned for my impressions of the Dragon Shout iOS app.  If you want to learn more about this app before it is released please feel free to browse the Dragon Shout site located here.  You’ve been wondering why it has taken this long to get this app out…
