‘Skyrim VR’ Kind of Comes out of Nowhere and I Think I’m Excited?

VR is hard to market. Unless you’re the one donning the headset, any footage seems really underwhelming. Say what you will about the format’s relevancy, but one thing remains irrefutable: the idea of traveling around the entirety of Skyrim within a virtual world is jawdropping.

Skyrim VR was announced at E3 2017 for PSVR, and it’s coming this November. With all the conversation surrounding Fallout 4 VR on the HTC Vive, the idea that Skyrim VR would even be in development eluded me.

There may be a lot of doubt, but if Bethesda can manage to pull off what Capcom did with Resident Evil 7 earlier this year, we’re in for far more than just a treat later this year.

We’re in for a flood of virtual sweetrolls.
