Snyder’s Superman Reboot Will Return to an Unfamiliar Looking Krypton

Some rumors have been coming out this week in regards to Zack Snyder’s ‘Superman: Man of Steel’ reboot, and how it’ll portray Kal-el’s home planet of Krypton.  Supposedly, Snyder’s vision for Superman’s home planet is closer to the look of Star War’s Coruscant than the crystallized version of Krypton seen in the Richard Donner version of ‘Superman’.  That’s all fine and dandy as long as his Superman reboot doesn’t suck as bad as Lucas’ Star Wars reboots which showed fanboys for the first time what Coruscant looks like.  I honestly cringed when I read that Krypton will look like the skyscraper planet of Coruscant, and not because of the design choice, but out of utter fear that this Superman reboot will blow as bad as the Star Wars prequels just because its Krypton is being compared to something from the tainted Star Wars Universe.

Coruscant From Star Wars

What are your thoughts on the matter?  Are you going to miss the Antarctic look of Krypton from the original Superman movies, or are you down with the mega-city look that is being borrowed from Coruscant?  I even hate typing that word; it reminds me of how my childhood love of Star Wars was sucked out of me the moment I realized that the prequels were ultimately epic failures, and that they’ve tarnished the franchise for many years to come.  Anyway, let us know what you think about Snyder’s Superman reboot in general using the comments section below.  You’ve had to swallow some vomit after reading the word Coruscant in reference to the new Krypton…
