So This Whole ‘Immortals’ Movie Looks Pretty Epic Huh?

Once again I feel like I’m a day late and a dollar short when it comes to the ‘Immortals’ movie.  I just watched the teaser, and this Greek Mythology inspired film looks to be on par with ‘300’ (Should be, same team is producing it).  After watching the teaser I gave myself a lashing for not picking up on the potential awesomeness of this flick until now.  Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I guess this film is based on a Greek Mythology of the same name.  I’m not sure if that means that this is a story that has been told for generations, or what, but the trailer for ‘Immortals’ sets it up to be one badas* lesson in Greek culture.

Dude Plays an Awesome Villain

If I wasn’t lazier than someone on welfare I’d go and look up the history behind the ‘Immortals’, but that would require too much effort.  Instead I’ll let the film version, which comes out on 11.11.11 define what the Immortals story is all about.  Besides, reading isn’t fun unless the book is full of moving pictures and audible text.  What can I say?  I have the attention span of an amoeba, so the thought of sitting down and reading a book of words makes my little brain hurt.  I’m fine with the dumbed down movie versions of most books (Harry Potter), so I’ll stick with the same approach for ‘Immortals’.  If you’re like me and haven’t been exposed to the ‘Immortals’ movie yet I highly suggest checking the teaser trailer out below.  You’ve been digging Mickey Rourke’s return to movies…
