Firebrand Games’ Solar Flux HD puzzle game for iPad is now live and ready for downloading. To celebrate the game’s release the studio has issued a new Helios gameplay trailer, and a few new screenshots to showcase its style.

Solar Flux HD takes place 100 years from now in a universe that is self-destructing, and it’s up to you as the player to help save it. To do so you must collect plasma fragments to restore the power of the stars before it’s too late. The game will use gravity to sling your ship around the celestial bodies while you collect plasma, but you must be on the lookout for asteroids, solar flares, and other deep space hazards that try to impede your progress.

Solar Flux HD features over 80 missions and 4 unique galaxies, so there’s no shortage of gameplay for the $3.99 asking price. If this puzzler seems interesting to you make sure to check out its latest gameplay trailer and screenshots embedded after the break.

Solar Flux HD is only available for the iPad, and can be downloaded here.
