Solo Affleck Batman Movie and Spider-Man: Homecoming Confirmed

CinemaCon is going down in Vegas this week, so all sorts of movie news has been coming out of it that comic book fans will enjoy.

First off, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara announced yesterday that, “We’re working with Ben Affleck on a standalone Batman movie.” We’ve heard rumors about this project, but this is the first time a suit talked about it publicly, so it’s probably legit.

The second big announcement is that Sony and Marvel are working on the next Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland, which already has a title. It will be called Spider-Man: Homecoming, and it’s set to hit theaters June 28, 2017.

I like the sound of both announcements and am eager to learn more about both projects, so stay tuned for more details as they release.
