Based on a very fresh tweet from Ron Howard, it appears that Solo: A Star Wars Story is getting its final sound mix today, because the Director shared a shot of the film from a mixing stage. This means that the movie is nearly complete and ready to be sent to theaters around the world for it’s May 25th debut. Although, you never know with projects like this, so I wouldn’t be surprised if a few more tweaks are made before it’s considered to be 100% finished.

We also know that a brand new trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story will be releasing today, April 8th. This information was confirmed via a looped IG post from the official Star Wars account, which you can watch below. I’m not exactly sure why today was chosen as the day to debut Solo’s new trailer, mostly because there aren’t any major TV events taking place on a Disney owned network. The Masters is on CBS, which could be the reason for this trailer drop, but one would think that Disney would want it to debut on one of its networks to capture any sort of ratings boost that it may offer.

Who the hell knows when the trailer will debut today (American Idol?), so stay tuned to your Internet machines, because once it does they’ll be lit up and ready to deliver it to your eyeballs.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, 2018.
