SOMA’s Story Trailer is Sufficiently Scary

At this point, it should come as no surprise that Frictional Games’ SOMA looks downright terrifying.

The upcoming first-person horror title is only a few days from release, but every piece of pre-release footage has already proven that SOMA has atmosphere, tension, and creepy stuff in spades.

SOMA’s most recent trailer delves into the game’s story, giving viewers a look into the strange happenings in the underwater research facility that most of the game takes place in. Watching the trailer doesn’t give too much away, granted, but it does a great job of setting the game’s central themes and motifs up.

SOMA will release on September 22 for PC and PlayStation 4.
