The mind behind FX’s hit show Sons Of Anarchy has agreed to a three year deal to stay with 20th Century Fox. Currently working on the seventh and final season of SOA, Sutter already has a pilot ordered from Fox for his upcoming show The Bastard ExecutionerHere he is discussing the show with Larry King back in April:

At Comic-Con Sutter discussed the possibility of filming an SOA prequel (which if you follow SOA you know much of the background already), though he didn’t know if it would be a complete series, or a mini-series.

The Bastard Executioner (as stated in the Larry  King interview above) will be set in 14th century U.K.,  with the focus being a warrior knight who is broken by war and chooses to give up fighting only to return to violence once again. Sutter will produce the show alongside Academy Award winner Brian Grazer.

The final season of Sons Of Anarchy is set to begin on September 9th.
