Splatoon To Get New Ranked Battle Mode

Nintendo has announced that Splatoon will be receiving a new multiplayer mode in the near future.

As confirmed by Nintendo, Splatoon’s new mode, Tower Control, will be available in the Ranked Battle rotation, offering a new way for players to get competitive.

In Tower Control, both teams of players will be tasked with rushing towards a single, floating tower. Victory is achieved by riding the tower into the opposing team’s base, which happens automatically once a single player sets foot on it.

Success will boil down to coordinated assaults and carefully manages defensive splatting. Because of Splatoon’s lack of voice chat, learning to master Tower Control will surely be an interesting feat.
