Stakes Are Raised in New “Risk” Spot for Solo: A Star Wars Story
Lucasfilm is clearly in full on Solo mode this week thanks to the release of yet another brand new 45-second TV spot, which like yesterday’s “Crew” spot, offers up plenty of new footage and dialogue to help flesh out the film’s main plot points even further. While the last spot mainly focused on Han and Chewbacca’s camaraderie, this one provides more of an overview of the dangerous heist that they’ll get mixed up in with Beckett, L3-37, Qi’Ra, and Lando. It offers up some new dialogue between Lando and Qi’Ra, as well as new dialogue from Lando as he is playing Han in Sabacc.
If you pay close attention, you may even be able to see who Dryden Vos is fighting in his club/hangout, which was teased in the full plot trailer that released earlier this month. One thing is for sure, and that is with each new Solo TV spot my intrigue factor in this movie goes up. I wasn’t a big fan of the feature length trailers, but these little shots have been doing it for me, so I can only hope that the finished product pays off.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, 2018.
