Wondering who’s doing the voiceover for the Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens trailer? Have you watched it a hundred times over and still remain uncertain? Or do you care less than Han did about Greedo? Either way, we have the answer for you: it’s Andy Serkis. Yep, the motion-capture actor provides the chilling narration to the next chapter in the ongoing saga between Good and Evil. Serkis is listed on the film’s IMDB, but lips are sealed as to what type of role he’ll be playing in the film itself, but I’m guessing it’s more than “narrator”.

Serkis first gained notoriety for his performance-capture techniques used to portray Sméagol/Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, 2005’s King Kong, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. As if the next Star Wars film wasn’t enough for him, he’ll also be in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron where he helped coach Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hullk), and has a role where he’s rumored to be the villainous Ulysses Klaw. He’s also set to partake in The Jungle Book: Origins film from Warner Bros.
