Star Wars Episodes 2 and 3 Confirmed for 3D Releases in 2013

I guess I can blame myself for this Star Wars news considering that I was dumb enough to pay for a ticket to Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D earlier this year.  Due to fans like myself Lucasfilm has decided to go ahead and release Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith in 3D starting on 9/20/13.  Clones will begin airing on that date while Sith will hit theaters on 10/11/12.  Trust me, just read my review linked above and save yourself some time and money.

These movies weren’t that great in 2D, so adding in another dimension will do nothing to improve upon their sh*tty plot and bush league acting.  I actually thought that adding 3D to TPM made it worse, so I don’t expect the conversion to be any better for Episodes 2 and 3.  Go at your own risk is the best advice I can give, or even better, don’t go at all.  I learned that lesson the hard way with my screening of TPM in 3D, so I’m trying to earn some positive karma by warning you in advance.  You’ve been wishing these movies never existed…
