A new update has gone out for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes called the MODS 2.0 system, and it completely overhauls how players manage mods, and how mods can be further ranked up to a tier 6 level.

In addition to the splicing mods mechanic, this update also makes it easier to manage mods. You will now be able to create and save mod load outs that you can swap between. The mod management system will also provide recommended mod load outs for your characters, which can recommend single mod slot placements, as well as full on mod load outs.

If all of this sounds a bit confusing that’s on me, but luckily EA has released a very detailed and informative video for the MODS 2.0 system. It clocks in at almost 6-minutes long and provides a very detailed breakdown of each new feature of this update framed around the mantras for why the developers wanted to make the change. Outside of being a great tutorial, the video also shows how well the devs know the GoH community, because it was crafted to ensure old and new players can understand the system, as well as keeping it fair for both whales and F2P players.

Check it out above to get your MODS 2.0 on!
