In this episode of the Star Wars Time Show, Nick and I take a full dive into some of the more interesting new bits of Star Wars canon found in the new Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View book. Now Nick and I haven’t read every story, nor do we own the book (Nick did buy it during the cast at least), but we do have Force powers, so we scoured the Internet and found a few summaries of the best stories out of the 40 new entries into Star Wars canon.
As it turns out this book is full of great little Star Wars tales that help flesh out the main universe with expanded content and insights into how certain characters felt, so while we’ve only purchased the book, it’s clear that it is one worth owning for hardcore Star Wars fans. We mostly break down 10 or so of the better nuggets, which range from why R5 blew his motivator, to why the Mos Eisley cantina doesn’t allow droids. Some of them are about random characters like the latter, but others feature new insights into the minds of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon, so it really is a book full of great content that helps to expand upon the universe we all know and love.
If you want to buy the book it’s on sale over at Amazon for $24.
