Yesterday during Apple’s WWDC event ILMxLabs took to the stage to show off a Star Wars VR demo running on the Unreal Engine on one of the new Macs shown off at the press event. The demo shows off the Unreal Editor being used in VR mode, which allows a developer to create a game world in VR using Unreal’s toolset. The tech is cool as hell, so hopefully it’ll translate to more than a few amazing VR games running on Unreal on both PC and Mac.
Head on up above to check out the demo. After that let’s collectively call out to the Force to ensure we get as much Star Wars VR action as possible in the near future!
