SteelSeries to Release Apple TV Nimbus Wireless Game Controller in October

Apple revealed its new Apple TV unit yesterday, and among its many new features is support for video games and an app store. The unit also ships with a Wii-mote style controller/remote, but if you want a more traditional gaming controller, you should check out SteelSeries’ Nimbus.

The Nimbus wireless controller for Apple TV will offer 40 hours of gameplay between charges, and when empty it can be quickly charged with its lightning port connector. It will also offer pressure sensitive buttons for precision gaming, as well as a menu button for easy access to navigational features. The controller retails for $49.99, and will be available on Apple’s website and Apple Stores in late October.

Head on down below to check out a few product shots of the controller.
