Today, publisher Mastertonic and indie developer Sigtrap, have announced that Sublevel Zero will be headed to Steam this summer.
The newly announced game is similar in style to classic titles such as Descent, presenting players with a first-person perspective and six-degrees-of-freedom style movement. Where Sublevel Zero stands out from genre staples, however, is in its roguelike-inspired gameplay, ensuring players will never have the same experience twice.
Sublevel Zero features procedural level generation which continually mixes up the game’s layout, puzzles and enemy placement. By doing this, Sigtrap have made it so that players will have to always be on their toes as they attempt to navigate the dizzying locations of Sublevel Zero.
Stay tuned for more information regarding Sublevel Zero as the game nears its summer 2015 release window.
