For years, Hitman’s Agent 47 has been the be all end all of video game assassins.
His bald-headed legacy has crossed console generations, leaving wave after wave of elegantly killed corpses in his wake.
Now, Agent 47 looks to suit up once more in Hitman (2015).
Revealed at E3, Hitman serves as a both a franchise reboot and a bold new direction for the tried-and-true formula of past efforts. In Hitman, players will have more control than ever, as Agent 47 navigates an open and persistent world. Characters, according to the gameplay trailer seen above, respond and react dynamically, offering more challenge than previously seen in the series. Similarly, certain targets may only appear if specific conditions are met, incentivizing players to think, move, and react as if they are the bar code-branded killer.
Hitman is scheduled to release on December 8, 2015 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
