We knew Smash Brothers was popular, but beating Mario Kart 8 popular? Damn. Nintendo appears to have truly outdone itself with the latest entry in the series with a massive fan base and a bunch of hard working employees. They have seemingly wooed fans and new-comers alike with Super Smash Bros for Wii U.
Mario Kart 8 was a fantastic game, but Smash has shoved it aside with a massive applause-worthy 490,000 combined units of physical and digital copies in the United States alone, sold within the first 3 days of launch.
Super Smash Bros is available now exclusively on Wii U and 3DS. You can expect a full written review and more in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to Entertainment Buddha for more on Smash Brothers Wii U.
